Who can enroll in Caliber benefits?

All active regular full-time or part-time employees who are scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible to participate in Caliber's benefits program. You may also cover your eligible dependents under Caliber's medical, prescription, dental, vision, and life benefits.

Your eligible dependents include:

  • Spouse or domestic partner (same or opposite gender)
  • Your child(ren) and your covered spouse’s or domestic partner’s child(ren) up to age 26
  • Disabled children who became disabled on or before age 26

Please note: If you enroll your spouse or domestic partner in medical coverage and he/she has medical coverage available through an employer, a $50 per month surcharge will be added to your medical plan premiums.

You MUST take action this Open Enrollment!

Your current benefit elections will not carry over to 2021. You must enroll in your 2021 benefits by December 4 — otherwise, you won’t have Caliber coverage next year. You will only receive automatic company-paid benefits, such as basic life and AD&D.

Do you need to enroll?

If you don’t enroll, your current benefit elections will continue next year, with the exception of Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) and Health Savings Account (HSA) contributions. You must take action if you want to contribute to an FSA or HSA in 2021.

How to enroll

You have two ways to enroll — online or by phone.

Enrolling is easy!

The Acme Enrollment website will guide you through the benefits enrollment process every step of the way.

The first time you visit the Acme Enrollment website, select “Get Started” and follow the instructions to register your account. You’ll need to provide the last four digits of your Social Security number, your last name, your date of birth, and your ZIP code. (Please note that the information you enter must match the information in our employee files in order to confirm your identity.) Then click the “I’m not a robot” box.

Next, you’ll be asked to select an email address or phone number to set up multifactor authentication (MFA), a security measure that ensures a higher level of data protection. MFA combines your username and password with an additional security factor — a temporary numeric code sent to you — to confirm your identity and keep your information secure. Simply enter this code into the site once you receive it via email or text.

Make your elections

To select your benefits, click on the “Get Started” link on the homepage. Then, you’ll be able to choose a path to begin selecting your benefits for 2021.

Receive expert guidance:

  • If you choose to receive expert guidance, click “Get Started” within this tile.
  • You’ll answer a few questions about your coverage and health care needs, your preferences when it comes to paying for health care and any expected life events.
  • Then, you’ll be presented with a “Best Match” package of benefits customized just for you.
  • You can review this package and make any adjustments you’d like. Click on “Quick View” within each tile to see additional information, or click on “Edit Coverage” to see full details for that plan and all other options side by side.
  • Once you’re done creating your benefits package, click on the “Select This Package” button at the bottom of the page. You can also switch to the “Choose Your Own” path at any time and continue selecting benefits that way.
  • After clicking “Select This Package,” you’ll be offered the opportunity to provide beneficiary information. When you’re done, click on the “Submit Package” button.
  • On the next page, check the “Yes, I accept.” box and click on the “Submit Package” button.

Choose your own:

  • If you decide to choose your own benefits, click “Get Started” within this tile, and then click “Start Open Enrollment” on the next page.
  • You’ll start by providing information about your dependents and yourself.
  • Then, you’ll review and select your benefits for 2020. You can go through the benefits in order as they are presented, or you can jump to any benefit at any time using the links along the top navigation tabs.
  • When you’re ready, you can review your cart and make changes if necessary before you finalize your enrollment decisions. This page also clearly displays your costs, both per pay period and annually.
  • When you’re all set, check the “Yes, I accept.” box and then click on the “Checkout” button.

Please note: After Open Enrollment ends, you cannot change your benefit elections unless you experience a qualifying life event, such as a birth or a marriage.

Decision support

Choosing the right plans is important for both your health and your financial well-being. These resources will help you understand your options and select the ones that provide the right coverage and value for you and your family.

Your enrollment checklist

Use this checklist to make the most of your Open Enrollment opportunity:

  • Learn about your benefit options, paying special attention to the changes coming next year.
  • Think about your coverage needs, including how much health care you anticipate needing and whether your current life and disability insurance provides enough protection.
  • Make sure your dependent information is correct and all your dependents are still eligible.
  • Update your FSA enrollment and/or HSA contribution amount — they don’t carry over to the next year.
  • Review your beneficiaries — it’s a good idea to review your beneficiary information (especially if your personal circumstances have changed) and make updates as needed.
  • Complete your benefits enrollment by December 4.
TIP: Think about the whole cost.

When choosing a medical plan, it’s important to think about the whole cost of coverage — the amount you’ll spend out of your paycheck, as well as out of your pocket (copays, deductibles, and coinsurance).
